Project Payday – Is It Right For You?

I’ve been using Project Payday for just over a year now. In that time, I’ve seen people say that it helped them save their home, their families or their cars. I’ve also seen other people fail at it and call it a scam. How can you have two totally different opinions on one single program?

Well, as unpopular as it is to say, Project Payday, or any other make money online program, is not right for everyone. Some people will fail at this program and any others like it simply because they can not get their heads around how to make it work. It’s not hard at all, but some people just don’t get it. Maybe they’re in a hurry and do not read the instructions as the should or perhaps they just want to make a quick buck without putting any effort into it. You’ll be amazed at how many people sign up for a program and never put an ounce of effort into it.

Other people can go out and use just about any program and make it work. How do they do it? I don’t have that answer. All I can tell you is that some people have what it takes and some don’t. Just like some people are mechanical inclined and can fix about anything, some people can replace batteries in their clocks!

If you find it easy to use most computer programs and you can understand how most systems work, and you have a will power to make money from your home on the Internet, then you can probably make Project Payday work for you. On the other hand, if you can’t figure out how to turn on a computer and you live your life in fear of them, I’d suggest you should move on to something else.

Using The Wealthy Affiliate Scam For MLM Success

Sometimes you can get frustrated trying to find the right way to build your MLM business online. Many of the programs out there tell you to sell your business in a way that seems scammy or spammy or both. But you don’t have to just sell people on the “perfect business model” or start drawing circles on the wall in order to make money with MLM. You CAN build a successful business by focusing on the products your company makes, even if your upline insists that you need to keep recruiting a larger downline.

One major MLM guru is Kim Klaver, and she has a lot of information about how to build up a business focussing just on the product end as opposed to the business opportunity end. While I found her information helpful and eye-opening, I still wasn’t able to figure out how to effectively sell products online until I left MLM and moved onto affiliate marketing.

WHen I started affiliate marketing, I joined a program called Wealthy Affiliate, which teaches its members how to be successful affiliates. One of the methods they describe is to create a review page that focuses on a particular need and to highlight 3-5 products that can help someone fix their problem.

This is great, because it’s focused to the person’s needs and they don’t get overwhelmed by too large a selection. When I had tried selling products for my MLM company, I had been either handing people a catalog and saying “Look at all these awesome products” or trying to follow Kim’s method of just focusing on one product. While we all know that the first method won’t get you anywhere, the second one was a bit difficult to make a lot of money with because there wasn’t enough of a selection and not everyone I spoke to was in exactly the same situation as me.

While I don’t do MLM anymore, I do wonder what would have happened if I had found WA while I was still involved in it. I do believe that these methods can be helpful for MLMers, though. Like many online programs, I had been hesitant to join WA because I had heard it referred to as the “Wealthy Affiliate Scam” and I didn’t want to get scammed, but I’m glad I did because that hasn’t been my experience with it.

What is the bottom line about affiliate marketing? I have seen a lot of talk about it online and many people seem to think that affiliate marketing is just a big scam. There are people who talk about how all these wealthy affiliates scam the living daylights out of people who don’t have much money to begin with and are going through an economic crisis, selling them products that are totally worthless in order to make a few bucks.

I totally hear what these people are saying, and as an affiliate marketer myself, I know where it’s coming from. Like anything in this world, affiliate marketing is a system that can be abused. Ideally it is a way for individuals to bring together buyers and sellers, and help people find the products that they are looking for and that will help them improve their lives. However, many people are taking advantage of that by promoting products that are worthless or making claims about how they have been helped by these products when in fact they have never even used them in the first place.

I personally never claim to have used the products I am promoting (unless of course I have, which sometimes is the case). Most of my affiliate promotions are based on the program found in the Wealthy Affiliates University, an online membership that teaches affiliate marketing.

The method taught there is to create websites that give comparative product reviews, so if you are selling digital cameras, you would write up reviews on the pros and cons of several different cameras and recommend which one would work best for the best price. This is a very honest way to do affiliate marketing.

Unfortunately, there are some people who will do anything to make money, and these people are the ones who are giving affiliate marketing a bad name.
